What it is
Not a member. A stop

The Kalahari Museum opened during 2026 inside the Diamond T building on Main Street in Askham, and Retha Stadler of the Red Dune Route runs it herself. It is Kalahari pioneer history, and from what the people who have been say, it is substantially a collection of historical photographs of how a life was made out here in the early 1900s. The association's own post about the opening thanks two farmers who put it together and gave it to the district.

It is the same building as Diamond T Coffee Shop, so the museum and something to eat are one stop. This is also why it is not anywhere on the association's older website: it did not exist yet.

Kom besoek gerus die Kalahari Museum in Askham langs DiamondT Koffiewinkel en sien hoe die Pioniers van die vroëe 1900s 'n lewe gemaak het in die Kalahari.
