What it is
Not a member. A stop

My Kalahari is not a place you can drive to, and that is worth saying first. It is a clothing, leather and lifestyle range made by the Knoetze family, who also host Ratelpan ninety kilometres north of Upington, which is why it shares Ratelpan's pin on the association's map. Petra Knoetze started it in 2022 and runs it; Barri Knoetze is a third generation Kalahari farmer. Ratelpan and My Kalahari publish the same email address and the same phone number, so one call reaches both.

Their own shop carries jewellery, bags, shoes, hats, caps, shirts and a baby collection, and Kalahari food as well: a braai salt, a platter board and their own coffee. They deliver anywhere in the country. On the route itself, the range is stocked at Aitsa, the gift shop in Upington, and the A3 says at farm stalls and lodges along the road.

We are an original and Proudly South African brand and we are blessed to call the Kalahari home.
